Large earrings have been with us since as early as the time of the Pharaohs and has made their appearance everywhere from traditional Indian attire to the red carpet. So What does it actually mean- statement jewelry? One usually thinks that in order for something to have a statement it needs to be big, and while that’s not necessarily true, that’s usually what happens.
I do like jewelry that tells a story, as you can see in the above collage, the statement is made loud and clear, and sometimes, the statement is as simple as “nom”.
Terrific post… though maybe one of those bold pieces of jewelry is a nose ring. I’m not an expert.
