Going from a 15 degrees temperature to -15 Celsius is not to be taken lightly. Going skiing this week has been very sartorially challenging. I have set my inner and outer Polyvore free and have come up with these hot outfits for the colder days.

The two long layers look is one of my favorites, it’s the closest thing to being tucked in while sill being in an upright position. Unlike the long jacket look, this will look great on shorter girls as well.

If you don’t want to look like a puff ball or channel your favorite Pokemon in a fluffy jacket- try and get a good fleece jacket and layer a vest over it. Modern fleece jackets are comfy and warm, and also function as ski attire. This one by Bench is one of my favorites, I plan to get one sooner than later.

Do you like parkas? I have mixed feelings about them. They remind me of army uniforms (bad) but yet look nonchelant enough to channel your inner Dree Hemingway (good). In any case, this seems like a perfect outfit for running errands on a cold day.
